My daughter insisted I try using Baking Soda Hair Cleaning Mix and Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner. I don’t like using the term “shampoo” as that implies chemicals and such, and the Baking Soda cleanse so so refreshing and different, it should be in its own category. Same with the Apple Cider Vinegar conditioner.
I did some research online to determine the best ratio for my hair, which is colored blond, so I wanted to double check the proportions of water to each of the ingredients. You don’t need that much of either with the water.
The above websites will give you all the information you need to start your own Baking Soda/ACV program. Currently I am using plastic containers, but want to use less plastic in my life, so will probably find a thick mason jar I can use. yes, glass in a shower can be dangerous, but as the product inside is not the least bit slimy or slippery I an not considered. There may be metal I can also try.
Anyway, give this a go. But be sure and us a clarifying shampoo to get rid of the buildup of chemical in your hair (don’t use more then once a week, and with the new natural process, once a month will probably be enough, too much and you can dry out the hair).
Sometimes my hair can be a bit fly away, so I got myself so argan oil to smooth out the ends, also great for the hands!!
Enjoy your new hair, and don’t worry doesn’t smell bad at all!! Argan oil smells very mild as well…
